AAAnnie Angelopoulou is a prize-winning photographer based in Athens, Greece. After studying at the New York Institute of Photography and the Hellenic Photographic Society, Annie has cultivated a spontaneous, emotionally charged and dynamically composed style. The common thread that runs through her fine art and wedding photography is a genuine love of people, respect for the human condition, and amazement at the world.

A search for the true emotion, dignity, and meaning within a single moment fuels her art. Awarded the bronze medal in the National Greek Photo Contest, Annie’s work has been published in Greek magazines and newspapers, featured on television, and shown in national exhibitions and fine art galleries.

Her wedding photography is in the photojournalistic (unposed) style and she is an award-winning member of the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA). Her encouraging and unobtrusive manner puts couples immediately at ease, and she is happy to travel anywhere in Europe to photograph your destination wedding.

"It is hard to write a testimonial without first commenting on Annie herself. From our first contact, we knew she was remarkable and would fit right in to the circle of loved ones surrounding us during our marriage.

Her work reflects both her talent and person. It epitomizes an artist who sees the world through a lens of wonder, authenticity, and compassion for the people, places, and nature around her. Plus, she takes the time to get to know you, and understand your point of view!

Her professionalism, talent, warmth, energy, and curiosity, gave us confidence that all would be as we hoped. We didn't think about our pictures, not even once - we were free to enjoy the celebration. That kind of trust is hard to come by on such a day! From her straightforward, timely and fair business practices to her photography skills, Annie is a rare find.

But the proof is in the pudding, and the pictures we got back far exceeded even our lofty expectations. You must know, Annie's eye cuts through the surface and captures the essence of the moment. Her photojournalistic style creates images that are in motion, and emotionally moving. When we look at our pictures we relive every detail of the wedding and will continue to do so for years to come. We feel truly fortunate to have found her."
